Device operational logic: the digital code delivered from the thermometer is a direct code of the measured temperature value and does not need additional conversions.
The range of measured temperatures is from -55 ° C to + 125 ° C. The absolute conversion error is less than 0.5 ° C in the controlled temperature range of -10 ° C to + 85 ° C. The maximum time for a full 12-bit conversion is ~ 750ms (at a resolution of 12 bits).
The internal memory of the thermometer provides setting up temperature limits (the upper and lower). In addition, the microcircuit contains a built-in logic mechanism for priority signaling in the line about the fact that the temperature has exceeded one of the selected thresholds. The device’s 1-Wire interface node allows connecting 5 pcs of such sensors to a single tracker.
The thermometer can operate without an external power source, only due to the parasitic power supply of a single-wire line. The device is powered through a separate external output with a voltage from 3.0V to 5.5V.
